Brewforia Will Supply Beer for Treefort Music Festival

Good beer is essential to any music festival, which is something that the folks at Treefort are keenly aware of.

To ensure that festival attendees have plenty of quality options for imbibing, local beer provider Brewforia will supply the festival with an ample selection of microbrews.

“Music and beer are both art forms, and they should absolutely be enjoyed and appreciated simultaneously,” said David Roberts, who has worked to coordinate the Brewforia-Treefort arrangement.

Brewforia will sell beer at the main stage for $5 a cup. The tap list will include one selection from each local brewery. Four local (or soon to be local) breweries—Payette, Crooked Fence, 10 Barrel and The Ram—have signed on to brew specific Treefort-themed beers that will be featured at the main stage, as well as at the various venues.

In addition to supplying brews for the main stage, Brewforia will also have its own mini-venue called Alefort. The Alefort will feature acoustic sets from different artists, and a selection of diverse beers from local microbreweries. Potential Alefort beers include a Chardonnay Pilsner, Sour Plum Ale and a Bourbon Barrel Dubel. Alefort will be located in the Linen Building parking lot.

“There’s been so much going on in the local brew scene over the past two years. And this is a good launching point for the future,” said Roberts. “There is a growing contingent of Boiseans that are passionate about craft beers—so much so, that we feel compelled to share it with everyone. This will be a way to accomplish that, while getting everyone excited about the community aspect of it.”
