Need Something To Do Wednesday?

Posted By on Wed, Feb 29, 2012 at 6:00 AM

Hop on a teeter-totter opposite a 50-pound child and he or she will probably be catapulted into the air instantaneously. Suggest a round of double-dutch to your friends and you'll probably be met with weird looks.

Yes, the fun and games of childhood are nearly impossible to enjoy as an adult—unless you head to the Discovery Center of Idaho tonight. Beginning at 6 p.m., you can join in the return of DCI's Adult Night, which allows those 21 and older to imbibe beer and wine while cruising the Center's exhibits sans children. Payette Brewing Company will be on hand serving up suds, and following feedback from last November's Adult Night, food trucks will be around to satisfy those beer munchies.

The fun lasts until 10 p.m., and the $10 or $8 DCI member admission includes your first beverage. Leave the kids at home and be sure to bring your ID, 'cause you won't be getting in without it.
