After jaw-dropping lineup announcements from both Coachella and Bonnaroo, other music festivals around the country have to deliver big. On Feb. 28, the Pitchfork Music Fest answered the call, with a lineup that includes some of the indie blog’s most lauded acts.

The Fest doesn’t shoot for big-name headliners, but instead prefers to highlight talented live acts that are currently making waves in the indie music world—the type of artists that most appeal to Pitchfork’s reader base.

Preppy island pop quartet Vampire Weekend is at the top of the lineup, with eclectic crooner Feist coming in next, followed by reunited post-rock legends Godspeed You! Black Emperor.

Electro-pop powerhouse Hot Chip will also perform at the fest, as well as beat maker Araabmuzik (which is coming to Boise for Treefort Music Fest) and the Field, plus cutting-edge hip hop artists Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky. Grimes, Liturgy, Cloud Nothings, Tim Hecker and Willis Earl Beal round out the initial lineup.

The fest is located in downtown Chicago’s Union Park, and runs from Friday, July 13-Sunday, July 15. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 9 at 11 a.m. MST, with three-day passes for $110. Check here for more info.
