Need Something To Do Saturday?

Posted By on Sat, Mar 10, 2012 at 6:00 AM

Bust out your cowboy boots, 10-gallon hats and shiny belt buckles. It's time to move, groove and feel oh-so-Idaho. The Idaho Country Western Dance Association is hosting a rootin' tootin' country dance workshop today at the Boise Valley Square Dance Hall.

For an Andrew Jackson, you can learn the country two-step, nightclub two-step, swing, cha-cha and waltz. The admission fee also includes a one-year ICWDA membership and entrance to the dance taking place later that evening, which will include more lessons, if you can handle learning more stealthy steps after a day of workshoppin'.

There are separate classes for beginning and intermediate levels, so don't worry if you have two left feet, or are already a near-pro—instructors will get you in the right spot.

Can't make a whole day of it? Drop in for the evening dance at 6 p.m. for $7.

Get ready to be the envy of all your pals during your next venture to the dance floor at the Buffalo Club. Visit the ICWDA's Facebook Page for a full schedule and more info.
