Need Something To Do Thursday?

Posted By on Thu, Apr 5, 2012 at 6:00 AM

Boise has a seemingly endless stream of events that marry hops with handlebars—everything from Tour de Fat to bike booze cruises to alleycat races.

Today, you can partake in one such sudsy happening. New Garden City beer-crafters Crooked Fence Brewing will give you a free barley pop (specialty beers excluded) when you roll in on your bike. That's right, from 4:30-9 p.m.. you can score a free tasty Three Picket Porter or the like, and work it off on your ride back home.

Crooked Fence is located at 5242 Chinden Blvd. in Garden City, just a little jaunt from downtown. And if you're otherwise engaged this evening, or your bicycle needs some attention before it's road-ready, you can plan ahead and catch the next one. Crooked Fence offers this sweet deal every Thursday.
