Need Something To Do Saturday?

Smoothies are designed to make you feel good—good in that you didn't have that grease-slathered cheeseburger you really wanted for lunch and good in that you actually got some vitamins in a tasty way. Today, your smoothie can make you feel extra good—and it won't cost you any cash.

Tree City Juice and Smoothie Cafe is teaming up with nonprofit pedalers Boise Bicycle Project to give out tasty fruit concoctions in exchange for bicycles and/or parts. At both Tree City locations from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., you can roll in with your old two-wheeled ride and swap it for a complimentary regular-sized smoothie. Or, if you have parts but not the complete package, bring 'em in and trade for a kiddie-sized smoothie.

While you're there, the BBP folks will give FREE bicycle safety lessons to children and adults, so you can learn a thing or two while helping out a worthy cause.
