Need Something To Do Friday?

Ever promised to do something when hell freezes over? Well, good news, you're still safe. But today, you can get a glimpse of what it might look like if the island nation of Hawaii experienced some arctic weather.

Raid your grandpa's collection of flowery cruise attire and then head to Idaho IceWorld for Luau Sk8.

The island-theme day is part of Idaho IceWorld's Gr8 to Sk8 summer promo, which picks a different costume theme every Friday through Aug. 31. Snazzy dressers will receive $3 off their public skating admission, so not only will you break out of the leotard and deep v-neck fashion rut that so often plagues the skating world, but you'll have a little extra cash to spend on snacks.

Themes range from Superhero Sk8 to Twisted Sk8 (where you can put your clothes on backward or inside-out without worry). Check out a list of themes here.

Public skate admission is $7, or $6 for seniors and children ages 12 and younger. Check out the public skating schedule here.
