Need Something To Do Friday?

Idaho is damn-near synonymous with the outdoors. Yes, there's an urban vibe—especially around Boise—but the tall buildings, art shows, music fests and other markers of city culture are surrounded by outdoorsy goodness. And every year, the outdoors come indoors at a variety of film festivals, like the Banff Mountain Film Festival, the Wild and Scenic Film Festival and the Meltdown Whitewater Film Fest.

Today, you can catch a different group of films about the great outdoors and sports when the Full Draw Film Tour makes a stop at the Egyptian Theatre.

Full Draw brings bow hunting to the big screen, and includes films from a slew of independent Northwest filmmakers, all with a bow-and-arrow focus. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the screening begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $12, or $9 for youth ages 12 and younger.

The event will raise funds for Hunt of a Lifetime, which provides terminally ill people ages 21 and younger with the hunting/fishing opportunities of their dreams.
