Nick Symmonds Running For Olympic Spot Tonight

A number of Olympic hopefuls with Idaho ties will be ready for prime time tonight as a national television audience tunes into the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Trials, broadcast by NBC from Eugene, Ore.

Bishop Kelly High grad Nick Symmonds will be competing in the 800-meter finals in his bid to land a spot on the U.S. Olympic squad. The race is slated for 8:47 p.m. Mountain Time.

Also on tonight's schedule, Idaho State junior Mike Arnold and ISU alum Levi Keller and Paul Litchfield will all compete in the pole vault, while Idaho State grad Lois Ricardi-Keller runs the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
