Video: Is Cold Beer Always the Best Option?

Do you feel that chill in the air? It's the chill that pours forth from beer taps across Ada County, keeping the otherwise sweltering masses placated all summer long.

Boise Weekly pays homage to the glory of the cold beer every year with our annual Coldest Beer issue. This year, we'll mark Independence Day in true American fashion by officially naming the 2012 Coldest Beer champ in the Wednesday, July 4 edition.

But while the big reveal is less than 24 hours away, we're pondering an argument we often hear from beer purists who are horrified by the very idea of cold, cheap beer: Good beer shouldn't be served ice-cold.
