Spiders are pretty darn scary. Especially the extra creepy varieties, like the black widow.

But today, you can see some black widows that are far from frightening, when LipsInc!, Idaho's first professional female impersonation troupe, presents its Halloween show, Black Widows, at the Balcony Club.

Get ready to laugh and enjoy the requisite extravagant costumes that the ladies employ for each of their performances. The last show featured feather headresses, faux water skis, beach wear and a lot of glitter. And don't forget the cocktails, because as show host Martini will inevitably tell attendees: "The more you drink, the better we look."

The ladies of the troupe "sing" popular songs, along with a few that many haven't heard before, and bring a persona to them with costumes and dance numbers. Black Widows will also feature guest star Lady Delicious.

Tickets for the show are $15. Reservations can be made by calling 208-368-0405. The show kicks off today and continues Saturday, Oct. 13, at 8:30 p.m. See for more info.
