Need Something To Do Saturday?

Getting dressed to go out can be a drag. Dressy rarely coincides with comfortable, and for the ladies, going-out wear isn't always conducive to Idaho's winter weather. But today, you can pull out the most comfortable, atrocious outfit in your wardrobe and wear it with pride.

The Fashion Victim's Ball is going down at the Mardi Gras Ballroom from 6:30-11:30 p.m. This fundraising event provides an opportunity to bust out your favorite vintage leisure suit, hideous sweater, that prom dress from 1980 you just can't bring yourself to throw away, or any other attire you wouldn't normally wear outside your home.

Prizes will be given out for the "best" outfits, a silent auction will take place, and you can boogy down to the tunes of Boise's own Neil Diamond and Lee Greenwood, and the Blues Brothers Rock N' Soul Revue.

Proceeds benefit Camp River Run, which provides recreation opportunities to children with medical issues, and All About Kids. Tickets are $15. Learn more about the event here.
