Need Something To Do Tuesday?

Posted By on Tue, Nov 6, 2012 at 6:00 AM

The election season has been long and hard. Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has waged a long campaign to wrest the White House from incumbent President Barack Obama, and there are fierce competitions for seats in the Idaho Legislature. Not to mention, Propositions 1, 2 and 3—the so-called "Luna Laws"—have Idahoans fired up on the subject of education reform.

Those contests end today, Tuesday, Nov. 6, and the time has come to choose where to keep tabs on election results, celebrate victories and mourn defeats.

For the politically minded who don't want to strain their ears to hear election coverage over the jocular din of the local watering hole, there's always the Library at Collister.

This Election Day, the Library at Collister is tracking local and national elections on big screen televisions and laptops for up-to-the-minute results.

The event is FREE and runs from 6-8:45 p.m. in the Catalpa Room. For more info, call 208-562-4995.
