Home-cooked meals are delicious and inexpensive. They're also time-consuming, and few things are more daunting after a hard day at work than the prospect of spending 45 minutes preparing a meal.

But there's hope for those among us who shudder to think about time spent in the kitchen. If the thought of slicing carrots or trimming chicken fat gives you goosebumps, then 10-Minute Meals is for you.

The FREE workshop, which begins at 5:15 p.m. at the Health Center in Room 114 of the Norco Building at Boise State University, teaches attendees time- and energy-saving tricks in the kitchen to take the stress out of food preparation.
