New movies are released on Fridays, but albums come out on Tuesdays. And since today happens to be Tuesday, you're in luck, 'cause there are some interesting ones being released today.

High on the list is True North, the bazillionth album from Bad Religion, the single greatest group of university professors moonlighting as punk rock legends. True North continues where every other Bad Religion album left off, with nitro-fueled, minor-key, fist-pumping tunes and lyrics comprised mostly of $10 words and metaphors involving scientific theories.

Epitaph Records uploaded some streaming samples. Check 'em out below.

Another oldie but goodie dropping new flavor today is Camper Van Beethoven, whose urge to take the skinheads bowling has given way to more roots-flavored urges with La Costa Perdida, a new album that could almost pass for alt-country when it ain't gettin' weird.

Another good one officially out today is We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic, by mod revivalists Foxygen—who are also booked for Treefort Music Fest.

As it does every Tuesday, The Record Exchange will be hosting a listening party with beer and pizza. The album it will be highlighting this week is Anything in Return, the new release from Toro y Moi. That will start at 6 p.m. and is FREE.
