Want to Win Sasquatch Passes? We've Got Some

Posted By on Tue, Feb 5, 2013 at 3:27 PM

Sasquatch! Music Festival has announced its lineup for Memorial Day Weekend, Friday, May 24-Monday, May 27, and trust us, you want to go.

That bad boy, which goes down at the Columbia River Gorge in Quincy, Wash., will be headlined by Mumford & Sons, The Postal Service, Sigur Ros, Vampire Weekend and The XX, and will also include sets from Bloc Party, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and oh so many more. Built to Spill and Youth Lagoon will even be there repping Boise.

The full lineup is pasted below. But before you see it and loudly proclaim, "I'm going to that shizzle," to your cat and start rushing to buy a pass, why not just win tickets from Boise Weekly instead?

We'll be giving away two, four-day Sasquatch passes to an Idaho resident who gives us the best one-minute video essay to explain why he or she deserves them. Go wild. Use stunts and CGI. Tell us which band you plan to have impregnate you. Imitate this guy. Just keep it to around a minute. The best submission will be selected by Boise Weekly editorial staff and receive the passes.

To submit a video, click here and tag it "Sasquatch." Videos must be uploaded by Thursday, Feb. 7, at 11:59 p.m. Winners will be selected on Friday, Feb. 8, at 3 p.m.

The Sasquatch pre-sale starts at 10 a.m. PST Wednesday, Feb. 6, and runs through Friday, Feb. 8, at 10 p.m. PST. General sales start at 10 a.m. PST Saturday, Feb. 9. Tickets cost $337.50 and will probably sell out quickly. Good luck.
