Need Something To Do Tuesday?

Posted By on Tue, Feb 26, 2013 at 6:00 AM

For those of us who love running but can't handle the cold, spring can be an awkward time of year. Sure, the sun's shining and the birds are chirping, but your breath still hangs in front of your face like a ghost, and your fingers cringe every time you take them out of your pockets.

But that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a movie about running. Tonight, Shu's Idaho Running Company, 1758 W. State St., is showing On The Edge, a story about Wes Holman (Bruce Dern), a former elite 10K track runner driven unfairly from his sport. Holman makes a comeback at a 14.2-mile mountain trail race.

The film starts at 6:30 p.m. and admission is free. RSVP at leone@idahorunningcompany.com so event organizers know how much popcorn to pop. You can also bring your own beverages and snacks.
