Posted By on Sat, Mar 9, 2013 at 9:56 AM

If you cower in the corner when an actor or comic scans the crowd seeking audience participation, the interactive experimental performance exhibit going down at Black Hunger tonight, Saturday, March 9, might make you squirm.

According to a press release, So Low/Gratis "requires total participation from all in attendance." Divided into four half-hour acts, the event plays with the idea of time-based art and was envisioned by dancer and experimental performer Elisabeth McSurdy.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the first act starting at 7 p.m. sharp. Performers include McSurdy, Amanda Micheletty, Ammon Rainey and Elijah Jensen-Lindsey.

Admission is an "active, non-monetary" contribution like a prepared dish or drink, or a bag of unwanted clothes or household items for the Free Boutique.

According to organizers, the show contains adult content. For more information, visit
