Boise's Delegation to Denver's UMS Announced

Posted By on Tue, Jun 4, 2013 at 1:00 PM

Denver's massive Underground Music Showcase will go down Thursday, July 18-Sunday, July 21, and this year, Boise will send a few of it's finest to rep the local scene.

Synth-wizards The Dirty Moogs, folk-priestess Grandma Kelsey, Greek-chorus Hollow Wood, murder-balladeers Sun Blood Stories and "they who ran out of earplugs," DEAF KID, were all recently announced as featured national acts for the UMS (though it wasn't mentioned that DEAF KID has subsequently changed its name to Black Lodge).

Note: That's why you never change your band name kiddies, unless you want to spend several years being parenthesized.

Stay tuned to Cobweb for news of Idaho's Colorado invasion.
