Boise Rock School Announces Summer Camp Schedule

Hey parents? Want some time to yourself to practice your wrestling moves this summer? Uh, we mean give your youngster the learning opportunity of a lifetime?

Well, either way, you're in luck. Boise Rock School has announced its summer camp schedule, meaning your kids can work on their rock skills while you work on having more kids.

The camps are divided by age and skill level, and cost $150 a piece. There are also discounts for siblings and multiple enrollments.

There will be a free camp at the end of the summer for refugees and at-risk youth. That camp has 32 available slots. To sign your kid up or nominate someone else's kid for the free camp, email

The complete summer camp schedule from Boise Rock School is below.

June 3-7; 1-3:30 p.m.—Regular Camp
June 10-14; 1-3:30 p.m.—Regular Camp
June 24-28; 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.—Special Camp at Hidden Springs
June 24-28; 1-3:30 p.m.—Special Teenage Camp this Week
July 8-12; 9-10 a.m.—Little Rockers Camp (ages 3-6)
July 8-12; 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.—Regular Camp
July 15-19; 1-3:30 p.m.—Regular Camp
July 22-26; 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.—Songwriting Camp
July 22-26; 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.—Regular Camp
July 29-Aug 2; 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.—Recording Camp
July 29-Aug 2; 1-3:30 p.m.—Regular Camp
Aug 5-9; 9-10 a.m.—Little Rockers Camp (ages 3-6)
Aug 5-9; 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.—Regular Camp
Aug 12-16; 1-3:30 p.m.—Strings Class
Aug 12-16; 1-3:30 p.m.—Regular Camp
Aug 19-23; 1-3:30 p.m.—Free Camp for Refugees and At-Risk Youth

Make note:
1) Camps divided by age groups (6-8, 9-12, 13-17) and skill levels.
2) Beginner, intermediate and advanced camps offered during every camp week.
3) Sibling and multi-camp discounts available
