The Snake River is a majestic part of the Gem State. The largest tributary of the Columbia River, it flows through our state and catches the attention and imagination of outdoor enthusiasts.

If you've ever wanted to know how the area surrounding it took shape, don't miss the opportunity to listen to Dr. Mark Plew as he discusses the archaeology of the Snake River Plain.

7 p.m. FREE-$5. Idaho Botanical Garden, 2355 N. Penitentiary Rd., Boise, idahobotanicalgarden.org.
