Need Something To Do Wednesday?

Posted By on Tue, Jan 14, 2014 at 6:00 PM

Idaho is home to many gorgeous scenes in nature, and many come courtesy of its rivers. From the picturesque banks to the tributaries and sunsets over the water, there's enough natural glory to make you feel as if you've slipped away into Narnia.

Over the course of four years, photographer Kirk Anderson traveled through four states along the Snake River to capture its beauty. Join him at the Idaho State Capitol Building and purchase a copy of the collection and have it autographed by Anderson himself. You may not have time to embark on a Snake River trek, but you probably have room for the book on your coffee table.

10 a.m. FREE. Idaho State Capitol Building, 700 W. Jefferson St., Boise, 208-433-9705, kirkanderson.com.
