Need Something To Do Thursday?

Posted By on Wed, Feb 5, 2014 at 7:00 PM

In our time, books are rapidly being replaced by handheld devices capable of holding an entire library. Bookstores struggle to stay open and relevant, and consumers download more than they purchase hard copies of anything. Despite all that, there is nothing like holding a book in your hand, flipping the pages and savoring each morsel with your mind... especially when there's art involved.

Spruce up your coffee table or bookshelf with a selection from the Boise Art Museum's used art book sale. A variety of books will be available for purchase, including catalogs, children's books and rare art books. Proceeds benefit various facets of the Boise Art Museum.

Noon. FREE. Boise Art Museum, 670 Julia Davis Drive, Boise, 208-345-8330, boiseartmuseum.org.
