Need Something To Do Thursday?

Posted By on Thu, Feb 13, 2014 at 10:00 AM

Independent bookstores are a great place to find a good read and discover cool goings-on related to literature. Boise's own Rediscovered Books facilitates many events and invites the public to partake freely.

Willy Vlautin's The Free tells the tale of three working class people struggling to survive. Take the opportunity to meet the Oregon-based author and pick up a copy as well as browse through Rediscovered's selection.

6 p.m. FREE. Rediscovered Books, 180 N. Eighth St., Boise, 208-376-4229, rdbooks.org.
