Need Something To Do Monday?

Posted By on Mon, Apr 28, 2014 at 10:30 AM

If you have a traditional work schedule, you may have a case of the Mondays. The weekend goes so fast and you're back at your desk slaving away for an unseen entity referred to as "they" or "the man." Friday night seems so far away, and that stack of paper in your inbox isn't getting any smaller. But what if I told you you could party like the weekend—on a weekday—and help birds while doing it?

At Payette Brewing Company's Kegs4Kause, you can choose a beverage of your liking and pair it with food from Archie's Place while listening to live music by The Mosquitoes and Cutting Cages. Fifty percent of the proceeds benefit the Idaho Domestic Bird Rescue and Sanctuary, so you can feel slightly less guilty about looking the other way when you heard that family of finches in your front yard tree calling for help.

1 p.m. FREE. Payette Brewing Company, 111 W. 33rd St., Garden City, 208-344-0011, payettebrewing.com.
