Boise Jazz Society Relocates to Sapphire Room

The Boise Jazz Society is moving to new digs across town.

After seven years at the Esther Simplot Performing Arts Center, the jazz organization is packing up and taking its show to the Sapphire Room at the Riverside Hotel in Garden City. According to a press release, it chose the Sapphire Room because it "offers us unobstructed views with slightly more concert and table seating, an hor d'oeuvres menu, and easy access to lots of free parking."

This year's BJS lineup includes Carmen Lundy Quartet Oct. 12-13, Grace Kelly Quartet Dec. 7-8, father-and-son team John and Gerald Clayton Duo March 1-2, 2015; and Delfeayo Marsalis Quartet, featuring Ellis Marsalis, April 14-15, 2015. Season tickets are on sale now for $149. Get all the details at boisejazzsociety.org.
