Old Death Whisper way out west tour wrapping up

Posted By on Sat, May 29, 2010 at 12:50 PM

It's a good tour when you only have time and wits to BLOG on the first day and the last day. There were so many rad happenings all week. Played some great venues. Played some not so great venues. San Francisco at Amnesia was fun. What a great room. Royal Dueces killed it. Everyone along the way has been sooooo accommodating. We stayed on a marijuana farm in NorCal- what a trip that was. It's practically legal out there. We could have had the coffee shop infuse a little hashish into our coffee in the morning. You know, like Amsterdam... Medford, OR was awesome, we played Johnny B's - a cool little rockabilly tiki bar. Washington has been rainy (surprise) and the show last night at The Anchor in Everett was rad. James Hunnicutt played some of his ninja songwriting and Hard Money Saints pulled off a psychobilly serenade. And everyone even stuck around for Old Death Whisper. Went on the late night bike ride on the beach under a cloudy full moon which was pretty cool. Our friend Beverly and Bobby G of Added Attraction Entertainment are cooking up an 80 pound pig today and we're on for one more day of rockin with Hunnicut and Hard Money Saints at Winterland in Bremerton. It's been a blast. Still working on posting pics...ODW out
