$20 Million Rock Paper 

Scissors Match

A $20 million rock paper scissors match was played between Sotheby's and Christie's auction houses in New York for who should get the right to purchase a rare Cezanne painting (among others). Christie's clever play of scissors to Sotheby's ill-informed paper took the match and the prize. Douglas Walker, managing director of the World Rock Paper Scissors Society and co-author of The Official Rock Paper Scissors Strategy Guide, spoke about what is likely the most valuable RPS match ever played.
