2006 ICA Grants and Awards 

The Idaho Commission on the Arts has recently announced the recipients of ICA grants and awards for fiscal year 2006. They're doling out the funds statewide in the following programs: Fellowships, Writer-in-Residence, Traditional Arts & Apprenticeships, Tumblewords, QuickFund$ Awards to Individuals, Organizations, and Schools, Cultural Facilities, General Operating Support, Project Support, Arts Powered Learning Projects, Creative Alternatives for Youth and Leadership for Local Arts Councils. $960 to Kay Braden to work with dance and inmates at the South Boise Women's Correction Center.

$980 to Capital City Development Corp. to support the Collaborations Project, a pilot performing arts program in the Fall 2005.

$1,995 to Okhee Chang for a Kaya Gun - Korean music apprenticeship.
