  • Sun Valley Film Festival

The fifth annual Sun Valley Film Festival, showcasing films for five days beginning Wednesday, March 2, once again promises major star power.

On the slate are films featuring Oscar winners Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman and Robert Redford, and in-person appearances from provocative filmmaker Oliver Stone and award-winning screenwriters Mark Duplass (Togetherness), Nat Faxon (The Descendants) and David Seidler (The King's Speech).

Among the feature-length films set to screen at SVFF are:

Miles Ahead, the long-anticipated musical based on the life of Miles Davis, from actor/writer/director Don Cheadle.

Eye in the Sky, starring Mirren, Idaho's Aaron Paul and the late Alan Rickman in a Kubrick-esque tale of drone warfare.

I Saw the Light, starring Elizabeth Olsen, Bradley Whitford and Tom Hiddleston as legendary singer Hank Williams.

The Man Who Knew Infinity, the true story of the young genius and his British mentor who revolutionized mathematics, starring Dev Patel and Jeremy Irons.

The 2016 edition of the SVFF will feature more than 60 films, including feature-length fiction and documentaries and scores of award-winning short films.
