Re: “Casanova Pizzeria

Along with 'Tony's Pizzeria Teatro' this is the best pizza in town! Yes, 'Guido's' has it's place too, but for the 'real deal' 'Casanova's' shares top honors here in Boise and perhaps the entire country.

Re: “Tony's Pizzeria Teatro

Went back again tonight after a long time away, and is still one of the best around - not just in Boise - anywhere in the U.S.!!! 'Foodie' magazines can rant & rave about who is best in the country (or world), but, hey Boiseans, we have got it right here in our 'own back yard.' Tony's is the shit!

Re: “Java Culture Coffee Co.

This is the last and final post on this site regarding these insane claims. Those that continue to post this garbage and try to create a smear campaign shame on You! Those that have been to the operation you make your own assumption of what type of people we as owners and employees is. If this had any validity please bring your claims with legal action! This will help our counsel find you without going through all the hell and expense to research the Ip addresses as you continue to leave fake names and hide behind the computers and cell phones with the idle threats and claims. True fact : the same person has used this site and others to make all believe this insane drama. The same person is a person has issues with taking ownership for there own short comings and ethical issues! At the end of the day they have caused undue harm and character assassination, which we will not sleep until justice is served. The other fact is the person(s) that have continued this had been terminated as an employee for their ethics along with the other for contract termination based on their very very poor performance after they had been guided and mentored out of our desire to want to help. We have kindly asked those that have made these sick post to come clean leave there contact information so we can deal with this as necessary! For those other that read into this, I hate to say this but once you buyin and you start making claims such as these without knowing the facts! we question your ethics as they can't be much better as you sit on the board of Gossip incorporated. People with integrity have no te for nonsense! There are so many companies or should I say larger and small that goes through this and it's sad. Large companies can combat these small issues very quickly. Starbucks, mcdonalds, dunkin, and all the rest they deal with this daily but no one pays attention because they are so large and at the end of the day it doesn't concern the customers. If there was truth to what has been stated no need for us to respond! At this point we have moved passed the response and have started to take real action. This is sick!!! If we wanted too we could do the same back but that is not out character! For those that are real people with a real heart and passion to have a great product and service we continue to take pleasure in serving you. Those that continue this dispicable acts your actions will be dealt with. What a Shame!

Re: “Louie's Pizza and Italian Restaurant

Still my favorite pizza, and Louie's has always been a big supporter of their community--unlike the chain restaurants we keep getting.

Re: “Java Culture Coffee Co.

The things that are being said about the owners is 100 percent false. It appears to be multiple people writing posts however it is not. There is a lawsuit being brought against the. Individual that has terrorized the company for a year. At the end of the day you can read and believe what is written, however it is a negligent and gross depiction of the owners, their affiliates and Java Culture.

Re: “Java Culture Coffee Co.

Most people mess up my white chocolate americano but they did a great job and, unlike starbucks, their frappés taste good without espresso. I liked the place but after reading up on the owners I'm torn.

Re: “Java Culture Coffee Co.

Your posts are only becoming more ridiculous. I think to everyone who actually reads these they clearly understand that the "people" who are writing all of these posts is the same person. You still continue to use false names and represent yourself as if you are multiple people. We do have a lawyer monitoring this an the only place you are going to end up Is with a felony record. We will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law. After a year of enduring this defamation you should please believe that we will continue to pursue "you" legally. Be prepared to defend everything you have stated . Keep hiding behind all these different computers and IP addresses. We have asked that you step forward so everyone can know exactly what kind of person has gone to all this trouble to post as multiple people with all lies. The only person that will be found is YOU. This will stop.
We truly thank all of our valued customers and friends! Thank you for your continued support.
You will be exposed.

Re: “Java Culture Coffee Co.

I was an employee also for these people. I agree with everything said on this forum, but I don't think they were caring managers. They are very "fake" people. I worked for them while I was in college briefly and it was probably the most demeaning jobs I've ever had from a personal standpoint. Good Riddance!

Re: “CasaBlanca Cuban Grill

Outstanding! Authentic, run by Cuban family. As a Cuban myself, I can attest the food is terrific. Try the combo appetizer which includes plantain bananas and croquettes! Keep in mind the flavoring is very "tangy" (tropical) with terrific steamed rice and beans. Yucca is a great slow cooked veggie covered in olive oil, tangy lemon, spices and onions. A must to try. Cuban food is NOT spicy. Enjoy!

Re: “Java Culture Coffee Co.

I don't know about the management. I've only been there twice, both times got the frozen hot chocolate and it was really amazing. The people there have been friendly to me, and the prices seem reasonable. I don't see any indications of a scam at least from a customer point of view.

Re: “Java Culture Coffee Co.

Well it is pretty consistent what has happend here. They have pulled down their website and removed their Facebook page. Why ever would they do such a thing lol. They have probably left in the night again like they have done every other time. We as a society cannot let them scam anymore hard working people. If anyone knows their future where abouts please post them wherever you can. Until these monsters are locked up we cannot let this keep going! If we can save 1 person from getting into business with them we have done our job.

Re: “Big Bird's Burgers

Don Rickles and Johnny Carson
We remember watching the Tonight Show, (Years Ago) when Johnny Carson and Don Rickles were having another one of their Fantastic Shows Together. Johnny and Don were chatting about a movie that Don Rickles had made named "Wasting Away Again In Kutcharitaville". It was a Super Terrific Show to say the least, both of them started talking about Kutchie Pelaez and his World Famous Restaurant called Kutchie's Key West Kutcharitaville Cafe. About his Famous Goody Goody Cheese Burgers in Paradise and how he had been serving them since the early 1970's. That's when Johnny Carson started telling Don about the famous key lime pies that Kutchie bakes. Don then preceded to tell Johnny that he too was "Addicted To Kutchie's Famous Key Lime Pies". That's when Ed McMahon hit Rickles from behind with a key lime pie, all over his bald head. Johnny, must have been planing it from the beginning, he sure set Rickles-up to take the hit. Oh my gosh, that show was just hilarious, it had all of us rolling in the floor for hours. They just don't make TV like that anymore. Those three were always great together. Don, Johnny and Ed. Any-Who, could anyone here please tell me just when that "Kutcharitaville Movie" came-out? Was it in the 70's or was it in the 80's? We just can't seem to find any information about it. It's like it just Disappeared, like Johnny and Ed did. Thank God, we still have Don Rickles. We remember the days back when we spent many of our days "Wasting Away Again In Kutcharitaville". I am sure that many of you do too.

Re: “Emilio's

The bar "in the lobby " is okay as a bar, though sitting in the bar watching people check into the hotel isn't really intimate. IMAGINE, though, being seated in that tiny, dark bar for a $40/head Easter brunch buffet for which we had made a reservation the previous week (-- in the main dining room). Yup.Happened to us: maybe a fluke like when the airlines tell you they overbooked, but that isn't any fun, either!. We left before being given the "chance" to eat there in the bar--and carry our buffet plates back and forth across the lobby/foyer from the buffet table in the main restaurant 50' away. Instead of being seated in the white-table-clothed dining room, we were ushered back across the hotel lobby to the little, dark bar, where the hostess attempted to put us at a 20" diameter pub table. We didn't stay long enough to see if that $100/brunch would have included paper napkins on the metal-top table. When we said that eating in the bar wasn't what we had in mind for Easter Brunch, the hostess just said, "Well, sorry this doesn't work out for you." Really? Could we have done any worse WITHOUT reservations in advance? One other group was eating in the bar--albeit in a booth,--but I think they were hotel employees getting in on the brunch….. We've eaten in the bar before and the burgers were fine, and we've eaten in the restaurant for breakfast before and the eggs benedict were pretty good (hence our reservations for Easter) BUT if you can't COUNT ON your reservation guaranteeing you a seat--or even of being informed, when you made the reservation, that you might be seated in the cloak-room, is it worth going there? I'd suggest Chandler's or the Owyhee Brunch, and you have to make reservations in advance, but they won't shuffled you off into over-flow parking just to make some extra money.
