Re: “Thinkin' of Schinken

They need to stay open longer and better hours so those that work 8-5 can actually visit and get food.

Re: “Ben's Crow Inn

Ive been going to the 'crow' for many years, reading the other peoples unstisfactory blogs blows me away. What a bunch of self indulgent whiners! world ain perfect if your clams are a little small-due to harvest and season, or if your shrimp have a little exoeltonleft around the tail section, or if your coctail saue is a little too hot/peppery. get over it whiners! Place is a boise valley icon, dont trash it, or it may go by by with all that harris ranch crap going on around that hould be the discussion of the hour, Enjoy the crow!!!! rpk

Re: “Luciano's Italian Restaurant

We ate here Saturday night for the first time at the recommendation of a co-worker and we were very impressed. Italian cuisine is either very good or very bad, Luciano's tops the very good list, from main dishes to delectable desserts, they do it right, and the fare for all this is amazingly low. We will return over and over again. You have won us.

Re: “High Note Cafe

The best lunch in Boise, hands down. Everything is home made--yes, the bread, too, and the dressings--and the people who work there (including the owner) are terrific.

Re: “Miss Tami's Tea Room and Cottage Expressions

Miss Tami’s Tea Room and Cottage closed in July, due to being unable to comply to new federal codes … a huge expense.

Yes, Tami’s monte cristo is the best on the globe! And my husband and I have traveled to many places in God's world. It definitely cannot be beat.

Tami is an amazing cook who practices from scratch remarkable cuisine. Her restaurant was a must treat.

Re: “A Taste of Chicago

Just had a dog, he handles the food with his bare hands, does not seem to be clean running water to wash in. The dog was microwaved to warm up and was ice cold in the middle and had no taste just mush in my mouth , no flavor to the dog, the casing had no snap to it. Not good don't bother, your not missing anything.

Re: “Mancino's Pizza and Grinders

The owner also has the Mancino's in Caldwell, which was in pretty bad shape when he took it over. But through hard work and diligence he has gained the trust of the community again.

Re: “Burgerlicious

Overpriced. Undercooked fries. Undercooked burger. Best part of experience was the Spounge Bob like tattoos on the server.

I will NOT be returning.

Re: “Europe Delicious

Couldn't agree more! I visited Europe Delicious today to feed my Yugo-nostalgia, and it did the trick. The Ćevapi was perfect and Sead is an unbelievably warm soul. Hvala lepa!!

Re: “Kibrom's Restaurant

I agree! What a treat to have authentic Ethiopian cuisine right here in Boise. The 'combination' meals are the 'best deal' in my view, as you get tastes of multiple dishes for a good price.
Also, the picture shows a plastic fork - would be better to show someone eating the meal with injera in the right hand!

Re: “Kibrom's Restaurant

First timer at Kibrom's today. The Derho (chicken) was freakin' awsome. The Red Tibs was also very good, but not as rich or complex as the Berbere sauce (which IMO would make an old shoe completely edible). grab a coffee/or tea when you're done and browse the International Market.

Re: “Kibrom's Restaurant

We had our first meal at Kibrom's last week. It was authentic and delicious! We are so happy to have their delicious cooking here in the Treasure Valley!

Hair in two out of three dishes. Beer was good. That is all.

Re: “Thai Basil: Authentic Thai Cuisine

The Lettuce Wraps are fantastic. They are only served at this location, not at the other.

Re: “Schnitzel Garten

MarioD maybe that is the problem. Schnitzel is supposed to be pan fried and it is being deep fried. Makes a huge difference. Haven't eaten there. I have yet to hear one good thing about the place from people I know.

Re: “Rice Contemporary Asian Cuisine

The service was the absolute worst we have ever endured. It took 45 minutes to get one beer, one hour to have water glasses refilled. There were eight in our party and one other table with three men in the entire restaurant, so the staff wasn't overwhelmed. The food would rank a B or B+, certainly no better than that. I see no future for this restaurant, except closing.

Re: “Ben's Crow Inn

The Crow Inn has gone down hill fast... I used to go there quite a bit but will not be going back again. The prices are way too high for what you get, The portions are much smaller than in the past.. A Bad deal, higher price, small portions, not a good combination for good business.

Was particularly disappointed in the small quantity of clam and their size were very small, hardly worth the effort to eat them. The finger steaks, also small portion along with a small amount of fries.... Not a happy camper and will not recommend to any of my friends.
