Re: “Gangnam Korean Restaurant

I just want that salad dressing recipe from Tsuru/Sonobana, PLEASE! My life will never be the same without it.

Re: “Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed

why not the breakfast, what about the people that enjoy that. Personally I think that Eagle Fun Day's has gone down the toilet, no cute shirts anymore, no breakfasts. the parade has become boring. I guess that's what you get when your small home town is taken over by the liberals moving here from California.

Re: “It's Not Easy Being Green?

'Casal Garcia' was part of a most enjoyable, slow paced lunch that my wife and I enjoyed at a small table set in the middle of the street while on vacation in Portugal in 2007!

Re: “Brews to Beat the Heat

@Grind Modern Burger - Disappointed in the recommend of the green bottle? How about disappointed in recommending the gross beer.

PPL - All 3 are garbage. Ya, I get it, not everyone loves IPA. GREAT! There are MANY local breweries that serve more than IPA. Go, EXPLORE beyond Albertson's or WINCO's beer cooler.

You put the state stickers on your car or wear those "Idaho State gun shooting the tree" stuff, right? Then BUY LOCAL beer, bread, eggs, CHEESE, etc. Go out of your way to put your money where your stickers represent.

Side Note - PBR is RUSSIAN BEER NOW - just sayin! (Oasis Beverages)

Re: “Brews to Beat the Heat

Very disappointed to see that you recommended two beers in green bottles. Never drink beer package in a green or clear bottle. Can or brown glass only. Green and clear glass allow in UV light which causes that sulfury smell referred to as "skunky".

Pilsner Urquell is a fine beer but enjoy it on draft or if you can find it from a can.

Re: “Casanova Pizzeria Mounts a Comeback

Pilsner, as a style of beer, cannot be the 'best beer in the world,' as that type of beer simply lacks depth of flavor, character, aroma, etc.

Re: “It's a Tea Party: Three New Boise Tea Houses Open

Can't wait to try all these tea houses, they sound amazing. My husband and I just went to one- Snake River Tea and it was a delicious and educating experience! We tried kombucha fir the first time and fell in love with their homemade kombucha. We also tried their peach Melba tisane blend iced and it was refreshing and yummy!

Re: “Food Co-op Convention Brings 400 to Boise, Discusses Principles

Whole Foods is just the worst. I would rather eat road scrap. Why would you support arrogant libertarian klepto-capitalists over your own local community?

Re: “National Doughnut Day in Boise: No, I Donut Mind the Line

'Guru' rocks! They are far superior to the much more renowned 'Voodoo' donuts of Portland, OR. 'Guru' is way more deserving of the type of press and accolades that 'Voodoo' has.

Re: “Review: Rotary Sushi

Sounds Great, but until they get a couple of local beers on the menu, I can't go there. An Outlaw IPA or Dagger Falls IPA with go great with a lot of the sushi....
