Re: “Idaho Panel Will Consider 'Convention of the States' Proposal to Amend U.S. Constitution

Unfortunately there's so much incorrect and biased information in the media and in opponents comments, the nature, structure and operation of an actual Article V convention has been lost in the negative propaganda.

Re: “It Just Gets Nuttier: Idaho Legislature Will Consider Robot Bill

They might as well do something, since they've already fully funded education and the road-repair costs that resulted from our long winter. Good thing they didn't coddle millionaires with a tax cut.

Oh, that didn't happen? Oh, I forgot, this is Idaho, the "whoopie cushion of states".

Let's see how they work in SLC or Portland. Could go either way - very good/very bad.

Re: “It Just Gets Nuttier: Idaho Legislature Will Consider Robot Bill

IF...they actually get these things out in public, and the novelty wears off, these things will become targets for vandalism, theft and outright rage. They won't be able to operate where they can be easily targeted. They will be for foo foo zones (Downtown) only. Not to mention all of the times people will run them over by accident. I used to be a downtown walk delivery guy. I could interact with the customers and enhance the business-client relationship. These things are purely labor replacement robots. Bottom line calculations that will reduce humanity to a absolute number, which is where we've been going all along.

Re: “It Just Gets Nuttier: Idaho Legislature Will Consider Robot Bill

Hysterical I can't get cars to stop to allow me a safe Crossing at a designated crosswalk. Drivers on the phone texting...barely paying attention..sorry..but when u have 3 or 4 lanes of oneway traffic and this thing will attempt to cross..one car is going to squash it.

Based on the language of the bill, I doubt he has any idea what meaningful immigration reform is much less anything about immigration.

Re: “After Emotional Hearing, Idaho House Panel OKs Bill to License Sign Language Interpreters

i don't have time to give an articulate and elaborate response. bottom line: dumb, unnecessary law sponsored by big gov GOP. stop taking personal responsibility and accountability away from your citizens. if the folks that want to use these terps don't do their own research, then it's on them. no need to make it harder to become a term in a limited field already by including a fee.

and news flash, just because the gov't approves it as safe doesn't mean it is and will always be safe. people still get food sick from gov approved restaurants, people still get injured due to malpractice from govt approved drs..big gov goons

Re: “Bill Emerges That Would Give 'Leeway' to Passing Motorists on Idaho Highways

Many people "spend eternity" in Idaho trying to get health care, decent wages, and other basic human needs. But the Idaho Neanderthals (no not a new sports team. It's our governor and legislators) are more concerned about faster driving.

I thought I was having a bad dream but no, it's just Idaho.

Re: “Bill Emerges That Would Give 'Leeway' to Passing Motorists on Idaho Highways

"No, increased risk for impatience makes no sense."

If a car is 5mph under the speed limit and you pass by the 5mph, or 7 ft / sec is too slow for safe passing. Counting a the following gap when you start your pass and when you left enough room to merge back by not speeding your version of passing could take 15 second. That is too long and not safer.

Re: “Bill Emerges That Would Give 'Leeway' to Passing Motorists on Idaho Highways

We could also do away with speed limits on the interstate, especially where it is less congested. speed limits were never implemented for safety but due to the federal gov and trying to protect the environment. the speed limit stuck as the state saw it being profitable. no victim, no crime. do away with the limits.

Re: “Bill Emerges That Would Give 'Leeway' to Passing Motorists on Idaho Highways

how about we get rid of the bad laws? or allow law enforcement to use discretion?it's common sense that majority of folks passing will be going over the speed limit. man idaho.....still sitting in the stone age with dumb laws and big gov GOP.

Re: “Bill Emerges That Would Give 'Leeway' to Passing Motorists on Idaho Highways

Washington State is adding passing lanes to many highways. Three will be added to the Pullman - Spokane highway this year.

That isn't going to happen in Idaho. It is more important to give millionaires tax-cuts rather than make our highways safer.

Re: “Bill Emerges That Would Give 'Leeway' to Passing Motorists on Idaho Highways

No, increased risk for impatience makes no sense. I've seen the double line for passing on a 2 lane in too many places that would not allow a blanket change like this to be a safe one. It's not about whether or not you'll get a ticket.

I'm so glad we don't have anything important for our legislators to be concerned about.

Re: “Idaho Legislator, Sponsor of Anti-Sanctuary Bill: 'I've Been Called Things That Wouldn't Be Printable'

The bill creates a registry of illegal aliens. Not criminal immigrants, just because u are arrested does not make u guilty. Innocent until proven guilty, meaning at the time they research the immigration status you are legally Innocent. This law is unamerican and unconstitutional.

Thank you for your honest reporting on this. I also want to recognize Lindsay and Holly Thomas Mowery for their interpreting work, as well. The team of interpreters worked together well.

The insane age of open borders is over. Lol @ the irony of liberals supporting something pushed by multi billion dollar corporations exclusively for profit.

I DO NOT understand all the dislikes and negative comments. Do you not realize what's at stake here? I would love to have you explain your reasons for the dislikes. Would appreciate hearing why you are so willing to protect criminals.
