Re: “First Thursday: The Pub Scene at Bittercreek Ale House and Bardenay

Really bummed that you guys didn't include a map in this month's listing. The DBA map sucks; it just has little balloons with no numbers or other way to map out the places you want to go without tediously having to look up each address.

Also if anyone is particularly in the mood to really get into this holiday, you should definitely check out this app I found this morning that can turn your photo into a Day of the Dead themed one, check it out here: http://smarturl. it/DayofTheDayMasks

Re: “Idaho State Historical Museum Brings Dia de los Muertos to Life

That's impressive that Idaho communities are celebrating this holiday - all these events sound really cool! I'm glad that people are starting to integrate Latin culture, it's speaks loudly in the voice of inclusivity and diversity. Bravo! Even this morning I saw a music video inspired by the holiday by Delta Rae. If anyone would like to check it out, here's a link: - it really gets me into the holiday!

Re: “Remembering Robert Auth

Mr. Auth was my 7th grade Art teacher at South Junior High in Boise, sorry to learn of his passing. I always list him as my "favorite teacher" when the question is asked, "Who was your favorite teacher?" He was always encouraging, and somewhere, I still have a couple of the painting projects worked on that year.

Re: “Flying M Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Awesome! I love the Flying M! I used to drive from Caldwell on Saturday mornings to get Coffee before they even thought about Nampa!

Re: “Remembering Robert Auth

These are only but a very few a Bob's paintings and the vividness of the colors he used cannot be truly shown here. They can only be appreciated by seeing the original paintings along with all of the other wonderful creations he made for us to see and enjoy. Bob was one of the good ones. He truly left a mark and will be missed. See you on the other side Bob.

Re: “Repurpose With a Purpose

I am from Mahanoy city pa., I wish that I had the money to have a yard sale but they charge you for every little thing you do, even if you do work inside your house you have to have a permit just like the yard sales you need to pay for a permit. I have 6 children 5 daughters and a 3 year old grandson, my daughter had him when she was 15. She is a great mother who just graduated before she got pregnet she was a c,d student she graduated an a,b student then had a summer job for the last 2 years she just started McCains criminal justice for children I am very proud of her. My husband lost his job in Jan. he got hurt in work with a mussle sticking out his back and was sent to his works doctor who put him out of work, when he handed his boss the paper he handed him a paper saying he was fired. From Jan. Till March we lived off food stamps nd borrowed from some friends and family by the time income tax came we owed mostly all of it out and had to catch up on the bills that we could. We weren't told to file for unemployment until the middle of march which they would retro back to Jan. so we made due as long as we had something coming in. I didn't get to have graduation party for our daughter which she really deserved, I had 2 surgeries and am waiting on a couple more so we spend more in gas to get me to the doctors then anything else. Right now we have no oil for hot water to for heat and have to wait for liheap, its a government funded program that don't go into efftect till the middle of nov. We are expected to come up with 495.00 on Sept 29, the another 495.00 on Dec. 15, the payment plan that they used to have was 158.00 a month which was more reasonable
how do they expect us to pay our other bills. Obama is doing alot to help us little class
out alot, we are just being kicked to the kurb, my husband can't even get medical so he has to pay to see the doctor and for the scripts, he can't get his high pressure one cause it is to much money and the discount card doesn't cover it. Is there someone out there who can suggest how we can save our home, we filed for the extension or unemployment so last week we only got one check but only god knows when the other is coming. please help
