Re: “You'll Be Horror-fied at Empty Boat Theatre's the Acheri

I on the other hand thought it was great acting, great stage and sound effects. The story was a bit strange but you have to understand that it was a psych thriller so it would be crazy. Myself and a host of others will definately be at the next performance of what ever this group puts together. Highly recommend it expecially if you like horror, strange stories.

Re: “You'll Be Horror-fied at Empty Boat Theatre's the Acheri

This was a HORRIBLE way to spend an evening. After reading the reviews my husband and I traveled 2 1/2 Hours to to experience what ended up being the worst garbage ever thrown into a room. The play was boring, over acted, and went absolutely nowhere. What an waste of time and money. I will NEVER waste my time watching these "actors" again, and I would recommend no one else does either.

Re: “Laugh Your Head Off With Alley Rep's Dark New Comedy

No, this play is quite brilliant, funny and thought-provoking, and should definitely be seen.

The Boise Weekly evidently condones the practice of creating usernames for the purpose of harassment. I will trust that most intelligent people will pay little attention to someone with such a name.

Re: “Laugh Your Head Off With Alley Rep's Dark New Comedy

This play is stinky, dry, and ugly like a turd sun-baked on hot concrete........

Re: “Feeling Blue? Check Out the Blues Brothers Revue at the Morrison Center

One of Blues Brothers fans’ favorites is “Rubber Biscuit,” with its hyper-speed scat singing about crazy cuisine like ricochet biscuits and wish sandwiches. First recorded by the Chips, the song became a favorite of East Coast disc jockeys in 1956. Written by lead Charles “Kenrod” Johnson while housed at a reform school, “Rubber Biscuit” became a 1978 hit when it was covered by the Brothers. Rockaeology has the meaning of the song’s cool-water sandwich and Sunday-go-to-meeting bun at

Re: “The Rocky Horror Show

Thank you Boise for making Rocky Horror a huge success! We have had sold out shows with lines out the door. Your overwhelming support of this show and its spirit proves that Boise is a fun town with a great sense of humor. And for those of you who have stayed for the whole show, thanks for believing in us. This show is all about self-expression and self-realization all wrapped up in the style of a campy B-movie from the 1950s. You have embraced that with enthusiasm. Thanks for making this a very special show! Remember, "Don't dream it, be it!"

Re: “The Rocky Horror Show

I'm really sorry, but I left at the intermission. I've seen the movie and other stage productions and enjoyed them, but found this one very amateurish. It didn't help that the play was performed in a storefront with lawn chairs for seats, poor audio quality, and actors who did not project well, including a narrator whose Scottish (?) accent was almost impossible to understand. Perhaps I would have felt better if I had paid a lot less than $20.
