Re: “Bryan Smith

I might have to hold my nose and declare that I'm a Republican, to vote for Mr. Smith in the primary. I'm glad that mostly he's talking about FISCAL conservatism; runaway government spending is the #1 issue for this citizen.

Simpson boasts his 8 terms... uh, what has the National Debt done in those 8 years? Either he's part of the problem, or he's proven himself ineffective at fighting it. And 16 years makes him a career politician rather than a citizen legislator.

PLUS - Bryan Smith's website says he's a cyclist in his off time. That would be enough to sway this single-issue voter! (Haha)

Re: “Bryan Smith

I'm on board. Mr. Smith is right. Mr. Simpson follows along more with what Mr. Boehner want than what his constituents want. People often argue that a freshman will be ineffective and that Mr Simpson is a rainmaker for federal funds in Idaho. How well has that worked for INL in Idaho? When Simpson was elected INL was north of 10,000 workers. Today the INL trending towards less than 5,000.

It's time for Mr Simpson to come back to Idaho and rediscover his roots.

Re: “Richard Epstein

I'm shocked! Shocked I tell you! How in the world did a level headed, intelligent conservative such as Mr. Epstein ever get published in the Boise Weekly? And slamming our willful destruction of American Aliskyite president too-boot! Oh the humanity. Bolshevik Bill Cope must be frantically hammering out an seething indictment of the B.W. staff who so obviously broke ranks with it's lock-step liberal tunnel vision philosophy. How can the Boise Weekly live with the shame?

Re: “Richard Epstein

I had the pleasure of attending a Hillary Care symposium in Boston at which Mr Epstein was guest speaker. Best speaker I've ever heard.

Re: “Brian Cardoza

Brian has developed into one of the best fire fighters and leaders within his profession that I can ever remember knowing in my carrier with the Forest Service. Stay safe and always be aware of your surroundings, Dad

Re: “Alicia Kramer

I agree with only one part of the comments. Injuries kept ALL pro players on the shelf for a period of time while in the NFL. The level of play and dedication should never be overlooked. I know if coach Lombardi was around today Jerry Kramer's name into the hall would be tops on his list, a true player from day one till retirement. Good luck with your efforts to get him into the HAF, richly deserved.

Re: “Mary Thomas

Good for her. It's about who's in charge and enjoying what you do. Her kids and grandkids should be proud of her. Brava!

Re: “Grace Arroyo

To the two people above and anyone who may per chance encounter themselves here, she does not post anything of the sort, she does not say that she is an attorney, and the advice is free because there are lawyers that give the advice, not Ms. Arroyo herself. The services provided at Primera Llamada are so that the clients can better communicate with the attorneys. This is because not all clients speak English and not all attorneys speak Spanish. So even if the consultations are free or not, if the client and attorney are not on the same page it truly means nothing. Please do refrain from posting malicious things on the internet without first getting a proper bearing of the situation or of how a business operates.

Re: “Bobbie Patterson

First female chair of IACVB (now DMAI), Bobbie broke the glass ceiling. She was tireless in giving to others in the industry, she shared her knowledge, wisdom and humor. It would be hard to name another person as respected and loved in this business as Bobbie P. And committed to the City she loves, even without compensation. I'm proud to have known her.

Re: “Bobbie Patterson

Boise is fortunate to have had Bobbie as the CVB chief for so many years. She is respected by all that know her in the tourism industry. All the best to you, Bobbie!
