Re: “Best Local Car Dealer

Bob's is the best! Friendly, no pressure sales people and a fabulous service department. Bobby Peterson and the crew are definitely the best in Boise.

Re: “Best Reason for Food Safety

Disappointed to see the BW trash talking a local business trying to recover and turn things around. Tongue in cheek, or just tasteless? I like how there's no mention of the store's efforts to redouble on food safety, or the fact that they voluntarily shut down their deli as soon as they found out.

Re: “Best Local Hair Salon

I have called Euphoria Salon numerous times & always get a recording. Don't bother leaving a message - they don't return phone calls!

Re: “Best Local Furniture Store

There are way better furniture stores in town. They just have corporate offices outside of Boise, so they aren't included. Lame.

Re: “Best Village of the Crammed

Do I sense some bitter feelings from the BOISE weekly regarding the huge popularity of the Village at Meridian? Your envy is showing Boise and it is not a pretty site and you should cover it better. The Village Theater was a winner last year until you changed the category to exclude them as "local". Shame on you. I have been reading Boise weekly for years - but that was my last one after your senseless display of a negative bias towards a development that has done so much for our Valley.

Re: “Best Local Tattoo Parlor

I made an appointment for a "consultation"... Apparently... and a week later, i went to said "consultation"... Met with a man, if you wanna call him that... To discuss the tattoo i wanted to get on my arm. I was and have been really excited to get this tattoo. He kept trying to talk me out of getting it on my arm, and an easier place, not for me, no, not easier for me, but for him... He wasn't confident at all... he should of been excited about doing this type of work, such great art... but yet, made me feel immediately uncomfortable, he looked so at ease about doing it where he wanted my tattoo, not where i wanted it. Again, all he did was try to talk me out of the tattoo, and look on the internet on how to copy the tattoo. I was wondering why he wouldn't want to put his own touch on this great, beautiful piece of art...

FYI: suck a dick, daaaa daaaa daaaa dick, shitty artists.... for-real though... bunch-a bravo fox-trots. bunch-a bravo alpha lima lima - sierra uniform charlie kilo sierra's.... unforgivable.

Re: “Best Local Tattoo Parlor

Tatooing has a rich history indeed.
In Japan, tattoos were used to mark criminals, while creating what appears to be the original "Three strikes your out" law.
First offenses were marked with a line across the forehead.
A second crime was marked by adding an arch.
A third offense was marked by another line.
Together these marks formed the Japanese character for "dog". .
