Re: “The Trip to Spain: The Road Best Traveled

Me and my friends are planning to go to spain this January. We would love to see some nice beaches with clear water and some stunning scenery. We were thinking Majorca,Ibiza and Canary Island, we are up to some adventures and experience a great nightlife in our travel. I came across this great article too here in but i wanted to hear your thoughts first. Can anyone suggest any ideas or tips? Any help is kindly appreciated :)

Re: “i48 Film Competition and Showcase

Unless you belong to the "in-crowd" - dont expect to win.
Ya, the shade stems from the judges selecting a short, in 2010, from a group (...of thieves) that, LITERALLY, stole the Comedy Central "Drunk History" bit.
No "kinda resembled a little bit like the CC series.." - it was an absolute theft.

2010 - "The Assassination of Julius Caesar" look it up on their page.

i48 ppl are clowns.

And, NO its not sour grapes. The groups I participated in have won Best Picture, Best Actress, etc.
After the 2010 event, we stepped.
How can you PAY to participate in an event that would allow that?

(ps - if this comment is still up, BW has not yet censored it.)

Re: “Booze at the Movies IV: The Prequel

Just as you can know the quality of a person by the quality of their work...The lame laws are the work of lame leaders.

Re: “Booze at the Movies IV: The Prequel

This doesn't just hurt BCM. This hurts festivals such as Idaho Horror Film Festival and i48 that utilize The Egyptian Theatre as an exhibition space to showcase the State's native filmmakers.

Re: “Booze at the Movies IV: The Prequel

Another useless law from our Idaho Republicans. I think that everyone should continue to support Boise Classic Movies and bring a flask...welcome to the Boise Classic BYOB Movies...

Re: “Miss Sloane: Slogging Through the Swamp

Guess nothing matters anymore, and what if it did, eh?

Re: “Miss Sloane: Slogging Through the Swamp

"Already nominated twice for an Oscar, Miss Sloane has again put Chastain on many critics' short lists for a Best Actress nod." This sentence declares that Miss Sloane, not Jessica Chastain, has already received two Oscar nominations. But no nominations have yet been made for this year.

Re: “Best of Enemies:When Being Rude Was Much More Dignified

The Buckley-Vidal "debate" (more of an erudite slime-fest) was one of the highlights of the national conventions in the summer of 1968. It couldn't have been more depressing, watching the police riot at the Chicago Democratic convention, and Nixon (flanked by Spiro Agnew on one side and Strom Thurmond on the other) win the Republican nomination in Miami. Many of us turned to Buckley and Vidal like you opt for a Bloody Mary after a bad hangover.

Re: “The Best Films of 2015 (So Far)

"Two Step" is one of the best films I've seen in a long long time.

Re: “The Best Films of 2015 (So Far)

I agree that Ex Machina is a great film. In fact, it's the best movie I have seen in a long time. But it's a low budget film, and that's why it wasn't promoted aggressively. They had no money for advertising.

Re: “Irrational Man: Woody Allen Gets Away With Murder

The trailer does not disclose the act on purpose so I don't understand why you would spoil it to your readers. ESPECIALLY IN THE TITLE!
