Re: “The Little Hours: Sisterhood of the F-Bombs

Typical liberal scum bag film making douche bags. Don't realize the greater part of the world is sick and tired of your MADE UP Alice in wonderland films/stories (If that is what they want to call them). It's nauseating to think that there are certain folks that actually think skits like star wars and sponge bob square pants are real characters in their lives. What a mess............

Re: “Boise-Based Filmmakers Begin Shooting Pinewood in Idaho City

Thank you for publishing the Abduction of Idaho Lorax in 2012 in the Boise Weekly. Long time no connect, we're sorry. Had to get a hold of media ourselves in Eastern Idaho. Maybe we can meet in the middle. Share and share alike since we have mutual friends. Here's a few for starters: Children Forced to attend Schools contaminated with powder airborne Uranium Materials in inhalant dust form. Just visit our RECLA SITE via Safecast.org/tilemap/ and zoom in on Pocatello in satellite mode etc. Or How about the rogue Relay for Life event at RECLA Superfund site? All insane, but all real. That's what LUDS Disease will do to you.

To whom it may concern: A lot more than 200 words.

Re: “i48 Film Competition and Showcase

Unless you belong to the "in-crowd" - dont expect to win.
Ya, the shade stems from the judges selecting a short, in 2010, from a group (...of thieves) that, LITERALLY, stole the Comedy Central "Drunk History" bit.
No "kinda resembled a little bit like the CC series.." - it was an absolute theft.

2010 - "The Assassination of Julius Caesar" look it up on their page.

i48 ppl are clowns.

And, NO its not sour grapes. The groups I participated in have won Best Picture, Best Actress, etc.
After the 2010 event, we stepped.
How can you PAY to participate in an event that would allow that?

(ps - if this comment is still up, BW has not yet censored it.)

Re: “Russian MP: Disney's Beauty and the Beast is 'Gay Propaganda'

It's a film about a girl who falls in love with a buffalo, and they are worried about a gay character?

Re: “Booze at the Movies IV: The Prequel

Just as you can know the quality of a person by the quality of their work...The lame laws are the work of lame leaders.

Re: “Booze at the Movies IV: The Prequel

This doesn't just hurt BCM. This hurts festivals such as Idaho Horror Film Festival and i48 that utilize The Egyptian Theatre as an exhibition space to showcase the State's native filmmakers.

Re: “Booze at the Movies IV: The Prequel

Another useless law from our Idaho Republicans. I think that everyone should continue to support Boise Classic Movies and bring a flask...welcome to the Boise Classic BYOB Movies...

Re: “Les Bois Film Festival Expands in Second Year

Check out that STRANGE bicycle in the photo (from last year's "Thousand Year Journey")... the drivetrain is on the left side of the bike...
(Today's trivial observation.)

Re: “Miss Sloane: Slogging Through the Swamp

Guess nothing matters anymore, and what if it did, eh?

Re: “Miss Sloane: Slogging Through the Swamp

"Already nominated twice for an Oscar, Miss Sloane has again put Chastain on many critics' short lists for a Best Actress nod." This sentence declares that Miss Sloane, not Jessica Chastain, has already received two Oscar nominations. But no nominations have yet been made for this year.

Re: “TIFF 2015: Two Films About Journalism Shine "Spotlight" on "Truth"

The coverup exposed in Spotlight would Not be exposed in today's media. Some victims are still trying to get the story of pedophile priest crimes out to the public. Please read more true stories of pedophile priests and church hierarchy who aided and abetted them at City of Angels Blog by Kay Ebeling, a journalist who is also one of thousands of survivors of these crimes in the USA alone today.

Re: “Best of Enemies:When Being Rude Was Much More Dignified

The Buckley-Vidal "debate" (more of an erudite slime-fest) was one of the highlights of the national conventions in the summer of 1968. It couldn't have been more depressing, watching the police riot at the Chicago Democratic convention, and Nixon (flanked by Spiro Agnew on one side and Strom Thurmond on the other) win the Republican nomination in Miami. Many of us turned to Buckley and Vidal like you opt for a Bloody Mary after a bad hangover.
