Re: “Parkour Course, Public Art Debut at Rhodes Skate Park

^ What Mike said. You're barking up the wrong tree. Shoot the city council an email and ask what Boise does to fight homelessness.

Re: “Parkour Course, Public Art Debut at Rhodes Skate Park

Did you read the article you jackass?! They painted murals. That's art. Why are you bringing your stank harsh vibes here? Go bitch to the mayor and city council.

Re: “Parkour Course, Public Art Debut at Rhodes Skate Park

So taking one of the few places that homeless people could hide from the summer sun for free, filling it with jagged rocks and some hastily thrown together metal letters is "art," huh?

Re: “Flotilla of 300-Plus Protest Snake River Dam System

WTF Nothing.... how ridiculous. Kayaks launch on free-flowing rivers all the time. Or do you just live in your mother's basement?

Re: “Flotilla of 300-Plus Protest Snake River Dam System

We were lied to when they put in most of these damn dams. They said that the salmon runs would not be affected.

Zillions of taxpayer and utility payer dollars have gone into hatcheries, restocking and tanker trucking these fish in an attempt to "save" them. It's a travesty.

The damn damns need to go.

Re: “Flotilla of 300-Plus Protest Snake River Dam System

If the dam wasn't there, they could not of launch their kayaks.

Re: “Tour de Fat Boise

For such a beautiful sport, it will ALWAYS get ruined by a few (or many) people who find it better to cheat. If you’ve had a car since you first grasped your driving licence, then the idea of commuting on a bike to work can seem a little daunting. You probably haven’t thought about being safe on the road since you passed your cycling proficiency test back when you were 10 years old, in which time you’ve been more concerned with your car’s MPG than with advancements in bike technology. You certainly don’t spend too much time worrying about signalling in a car or being squashed to the kerb either. For whatever reason, you’ve decided to bike to work. Maybe you’ve been enticed in by a tax free bike on the cycle to work scheme, or maybe you just want to burn fat, not your hard earned money on fuel.

Re: “Yotes Fever is Back: C of I Beats No. 13 Eastern Oregon in Season Opener

The University of Idaho would be wise to not schedule a football game with the College of Idaho. How humiliating it would be for the "mighty" Vandals to get thumped by the Yotes.

Re: “Boise Parks and Rec Asks Bench Neighborhood to Design a Park

A year around pool would be an awesome addition to our city, and something we do not yet have!

3 Acres? A playground, a walking path, a shaded area with benches for lunching/meeting, and an open area for games, exercise, or gatherings.

Re: “More Spokes in Boise Bike Week's Wheels

Teaching future cyclists that they don't deserve to have a safe place to ride. Suck it up and be a car, otherwise you deserve to get hit by the driver on a cell phone. Mother-fucking ridiculous!!! As long as ACHD, ITD and the City of Boise defer to the BBP mafia, we will have more of the same, bikes and helmets for kids just to be trained to manage near death encounters with the good folk drivers of Idaho. Do Idahoan's know how to protest? or are they afraid? or are they just wimps? And yes, I have been to your committee meetings, volunteered and donated my money to the groups. Question is, will these groups ever step up to real change, or will they all become non-profits that somehow turn a profit to buy buildings?

Re: “Thru-Hiking the Idaho Centennial Trail

So glad to read this! I too will be interested to hear about the outcome. We keep coming across sections of this trail and wonder how folks get resupplied with provisions. It really is out there!

Re: “Thru-Hiking the Idaho Centennial Trail

See this blog for first-person information about hiking the ICT -

I would add that the wilderness sections of the ICT are better-maintained than those sections outside of the wilderness, especially in N. Idaho ... make sure you take a GPS with you!
