Re: “Conservation Groups Dig at CuMo Mining Exploration as Comment Period Deadline Looms

As a geologist, I am generally pro-mining since we all need the resources it provides. One of my biggest concerns with this project is the involvement of a Chinese company as the primary backer of the project. I worked with a Chinese company in Canada that was developing a coal mine and did not like what they were doing there. (I didn't last long, lol). In particular, they made blatant violations of the environmental rules for the project. I don't know how it ultimately worked out, but they were planning on bringing in Chinese labor for most of the mining positions. They were able to do this by using various means to bypass Canadian laws requiring the use of Canadian workers, similar to the way they "justify" hiring mostly foreign workers at Mar -a - Loco.

Re: “KIVI: Idaho Senator Served With Cease And Desist After 'Ag-Gag' Comments

I'm born and raised in Idaho and I am usually very proud of my state and the wonderful people that make it special. But I can't believe that the voters endorsed a legal attack on truth and support government attacks and bullying against those who expose that which is clearly and undeniably wrong.
To reelect any public official is to endorse and support all they do and stand for.
I'm ashamed of the state of Idaho and the people who don't vote
