Re: “Leaders Break Ground on Housing-First Development for Chronically Homeless in Boise

Example of the extra cost of homelessness: person is given a sandwich, eats half, has the other half later. No refrigeration, person gets food poisoning. Trip to er by ambulance $1,500, er charges $2,800, . Expensive sandwich.

Re: “Boise Ordinance Dials Down Muffler Noise

Five Mile Road underwent an extensive widening and completely new paving project that cost taxpayers big money. The speed limit was raised from 35 mph to 40 mph. Motorcycle riders and junk vehicles with loud, illegal muffler mods are in Heaven on their new raceway. I live on Five Mile near Ustick and work front home. The noise level is unbelievable and nonstop. These people act as if the noise ordinance and speed limit mean nothing. And apparently, they are right. I've never seen any of them pulled over by law enforcement. Noise pollution is off the charts. Boise government does not seem to care. They obviously live in quiet, expensive neighborhoods. One week living in my area would be profoundly eye-opening. Wake up and hire more law enforcement to curb this lawless free-for-all.

Re: “The Elvis and Johnny Cash Show

Both performers did a great job paying tribute to both Johnny and Elvis. I felt bad for Johnny for the obviously intoxicated lady who kept interrupting him. I wish I could apologize to him and let him know she is not a good representation of the people in Idaho. I wish security would have picked her up and thrown her out on the street!

Re: “Idaho Musicians Sing in Support of Paulette Jordan

We are thrilled to have Paulette running for office here in Idaho. She is really someone all Idahoans can get behind. She reaches out to all People and listens to your questions and not only gives us answers but explains how she plans on accomplishing the goals of the people not those of special interest. She is well qualified to be the Governor of Idaho and we welcome a change in the status quo which the existing good old boys have promised for years now that education and health care is their top priority. We are now 50th in the nation in education and even though they continue to say they have another health care plan where is it? Paulette brings excitement for change we can really use here in our state. Vote for Paulette Jordan November 6.

Re: “New York Times Chronicles Rising Tide of Homeless Encampments in Western U.S.

Very sad to know about such condition of homeless people. Problems like poverty can lead to the homeless. Thus, it is essential to help the homeless people. One of my friends is associated with the NGO, so he suggested me to read this http://www.mission-humanitaire-afrique.org/partir-en-mission-humanitaire-afrique and join the organization, where they work for the social welfare of the people.

Re: “32nd Annual Nampa Festival of the Arts

On all the sites that talk about it not a single one mentions anything about dogs so I figured since it was in a park dogs would be allowed but they are not even though every other Art Festival in the valley allows them. Why you would host something in a parked and not allow dogs I do not know but I was able to see only very little because I drove there with my dog right after work just to have to drive right back home to take my dog home leaving me only 15 minutes to look. If they just put that dogs were not aloud online I would not be mad.
