Re: “Esteban Anastasio Flamenco Guitar

I guess this guy is now billing himself as a jazz player. He wouldn't know Satin Doll if it bit him in the ass. Avoid Chandlers until later on Tuesdays unless you enjoy disappointment.

Re: “OTO Meet-and-Greet

Very Informative. Had a lot of fun meeting everyone. I was surprised by genuinely passionate these people are about their stuff, and how knowledgeable they were. I'll be around for sure more often. Snacks however were subpar.....

Re: “SHE SAID WHAT??? The Diva Monologue Show

Joan Crawford, Bette Davis .... and Jane Lynch? What do they all have in common? Each has performed a diva like speech on film. Be it comedy or over the top drama, these ladies have delivered the goods.

What could be better than that?? Gay men and Allies performing the classics live in a night of high camp.

The Balcony Club and The Boise Gay Men's Chorus present " SHE SAID WHAT??? " an "outside the box" theater showcase of some of the greatest meltdowns ever.

This theater in the round style show will feature BGMC in a night of monologues of both words and music. Add in a few special guests from Boise's comedy and performing arts scene and you have a night you won't forget.

Re: “Esteban Anastasio Flamenco Guitar

Horribles mierda! Esteban Anastasio no tiene pasión. Su forma de tocar la guitarra no tiene dwende . Si quieres escuchar el flamenco verdadero , escuchar Distrito 19 , o la banda Shimi Árbol.

Re: “The Vagina Monologues

Well.............this performance art item is a bit old. Couldn't the Diversity program find something more recent, like a good film documentary, for ex.?
But then, maybe no Idahoan filmmaker has ever made one about violence on women or men in ID? Like exposures of the nuclear power menace, the topic of gender violence is censored so far as grants and notice/discussion in the MSM goes.

Re: “BCT Constellations Previews

we saw this play on thursday. I would say, that the concept is interesting. But the overuse of the word F-, was just silly. it was distracting and had nothing to do with the characters development at all. it was as if the show was worried that you won't think I'm cool, or hip, so i will throw the word Fu---ing into eery 4th sentence and then i will automatically be cool.
The actors were good. There were other silly references, to crass things that detracted from what could have been a classy show. for instance, "my crotch is a fu--ing furnace. " What was that even about? It did not fit that she was an extremely brilliant astro physicist and she talks in this way. it was silly. I am not some 65 year old person. We are two couples in our 20's and 30's. skip this show.

Re: “Michael Ray

Michael Ray is amazing. He has played with everyone you can think of including, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Eric Anderson and Jackson Brown. It will be a great show.

Wow was all I could say when I found these comments. I hear this horrible little man teaches guitar when he's not lizarding lounges. Parents be sure to supervise lessons with this person.

Re: “Letting Go of What's Holding You Back: Accelerating Success in 2016

This is not a review of the workshop, but rather a review of the attempt to learn about the workshop. There is no information about the difference between the the $30 and $50 tickets. No way to buy them online. The speakers website has no information about anything except a video of the highlights of keynotes of something. I might try emailing the speaker, but that really seems like a lot of effort that won't likely get an answer before the show starts. I'd say what's holding the speaker back is a lack of ability to inform the public about what he has to offer. Random googling on his name also didn't find much.

Re: “Red Light Variety Show: Mercury Rising

I've seen this show, and many previous shows, and they are all fantastic. The performers are wonderfully talented and Green Zoo is a great band. They recently added a show, so if you have the chance, definitely go.
