Overrated and contrived. Lucky for the owners of Le Coq Rouge (original name?) they can count on Boise's lack of authentic French establishments to keep them afloat. Perhaps if they get rid of the *[part of this comment has been removed by the administrator]* the atmosphere might take on a more authentic feel but something tells me she's there to stay, unfortunate. As for the food, though far from a Larousse inspired orgy of taste I was hoping for it was fair, perhaps it might have tasted better had *[part of this comment has been removed by the administrator]* not set my teeth on edge from the start. Like others have noted there is pressure to order wine by the bottle, which from my own experience in the food world is based on a need to turn a profit when your food can't carry you. There is potential for the Chef but he should *[part of this comment has been removed by the administrator]*.
