Re: “Bisterfeldt, Jordan, Thomson Win Boise Council Seats

^^ I'm not part of any party but tend to have more conservative views. Maybe people who are concerned about there country did go to the polls and vote, how would you know? A revolution haha mmm not soo much, I'm sure everyone of us would like to put people back into office who spend our money inefficiently, when our country is already in real deep trouble with the spending in Washington for this year alone. Live and Learn right? Count up how much we've spent this year nationally in government and you will be amazed how much more it is to the last eight years alone. I would agree the policies of both parties today are putting us into more of a mess than helping. I'm happy congress is trying to do something with bills in Washington to help us out, but if you actually read what are in the bills they don't help us with our current dilemma. So is government ignorant, think the people are gullible, or corrupt? There are a lot of special interests grabbing money and power in the government today more than ever, look at the content in the bills and you will see this distribution. By voting in a new government of "change" a lot of people have stopped paying attention to the important debates and politics in this country thinking this new government will fix everything for them. What if there was still corruption in government and the people payed less attention? I do hope that the Labeling of both parties does not blind one's own ideology to issues. I do agree democracy is in action here locally in Boise. I love this city because corruption is very low.
