Re: “Up in Smoke

Amy: I smoked for 45 years. Over a year ago, on March 27, 2009 I switched to inhaling vaporized nicotine from a product popularly called an "electronic cigarette." It took a little work, as I needed to increase the strength of the nicotine liquid in my cartridges, and to learn a slightly different puffing technique, in order to maintain normal mood and cognitive skills (I have adult Attention Deficit Disorder, which nicotine keeps under control.) But soon I lost all desire to light up a tobacco cigarette. The last time I tried it, the dern thing tasted awful and I put it out after one puff. For more information, check out http://www.casaa.org, http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com, and http://www.vapersforum.com/ BTW, my wheezing is gone, no more coughing up junk in the morning, and I can laugh out loud without going into a fit of coughing.
