I live in North Central Idaho, and the Canadian Wolf population here is out of control! The packs here are not only killing for food, they're hunting for sport, leaving deer and elk carcasses to rot! In the spring, they wait for the does and cow elk to lay down to give birth and then kill the mother and baby. They call this program "Reintroduction", but these are not even the species of wolf that originally lived here. These are much larger and more aggressive. Several residents in our area have even seen packs of wolves sniffing the ground at the school bus stops just moments after the children get on the bus. It's a miracle no humans have been killed or injured as of yet. the wolves were nearly made extinct for a reason. You see many cars in our area sporting bumper stickers that read,"Protect Wildlife....Kill a Wolf!
