Re: “Organizers: Goal Passed To Put Luna Laws on 2012 Ballot

It's time that the voters standup to the corrupt state government. Our Governor, Legislators, and Luna the Lunitic do not care about education they just give lip service as the try and distroy our education system. Our teachers are underpaid and underappreciated. Those teachers that really care work extremely long hours all year long preparing to teach our children. To many of our government officials have no idea how many hours a teacher actually spends to be a good teacher. They think they work from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm go home and do nothing and then return the next school day and then get all these different hollidays off, 2 weeks at Christmas, a week of springbreak and all summer off. I wish these jerks could just spend 1 year working the kind of hours my wife as a teachers puts in and then maybe they would have at least a clue as to how hard our teachers work. I can tell you this non of them would make it as a teacher they wouldn't be able to hack it for the pennies that teachers are paid. Then not only do they put in long hours they are forced to spend part of their meager salary to buy supplies to assist low income students and to suppliment there lack of teaching tools that the state refuses to provide the money for. I have learned that from the first of August till the middle of June I am basically a batchelor as my wife works 12 to 16 hours aday 7 days aweek preparing lesson plans, grading and studying so she can find ways to stimulate and make learning fun for her students. How can Idaho who supposedly has the most millionairs per capita of any other state spend less money for education than Mississsippi the poorest state in tahe US.
