Re: “The Ranch Club

The place sucks as does its horny owner who likes to aid in ending marriages!

Re: “Whatever Happened to Margaret? The Final Days of the Iconic Owner of Boise's Hollywood Market

Where was the LDS church through this all? They should have stepped up and took her in> I'm sure she donated more than enough! Something could have been done but "no one" took the challenge. If there is a will there is a way to help a friend in need! As for our government? It's time for a change! To just sit by and hope for it not to happen to you is equivalent to the crime/injustice! PEOPLE! LET'S TAKE CARE OF OUR ELDERLY! KEEP THEM WITH US UNLESS THEY NEED CRITICAL CARE! ENCOURAGE THEM TO SEE A FUTURE AND TO KEEP MOVING AND LEARNING. I'm still trying to heed my own advise, but it is within the efforts of many that everyone benefits!
Meanwhile...raise hell and encourage changes in regulation!

Re: “Boise State President Pleads for Public Health Care Option

Knowing nothing about Dr. Kustra prior to this article I had pictured a totally different person. I now know how wrong my assumptions were regarding people in positions of power. I am truly sorry for his loss, but I see the spirit of his son living on through Dr. Kustra (and perhaps lighting fires within all those who hear him).
Being as critical as I am-I never give unwarranted praise (especially for those within significant positions) but I will say now how proud I am to have him represent Boise State! Football is a great sport but I think people often forget that great schools are build upon its TEACHINGS and how we utilize them as students, alumni, fans, friends, colleagues, representatives or just humans being. What might have "worked" within healthcare for one individual may not be the case for the another/majority; to think that Steve or any other person could have had a better quality of life, if not lifesaving care is more than enough to warrant a change.
I have your back Dr. if you decide to run for office! My prayers will include Steve.
With new eyes and much respect, Catherine Remely
